Are you
working with children as part of your volunteer programme?
How it
works You will be briefed on how to deliver basic heath and safety awareness training to people in developing countries, and will be provided with a teaching pack. The British Safety Council aims to reach 3,000 children this year through volunteer programmes. You will then teach health and safety as part of your voluntary project, and, where possible, help your students achieve the BSC Entry Level Award in Workplace Hazard Awareness, a formal qualification which is already available in UK schools.
What's the next step? Then, you simply need to contact Sebastian Tarnowski at the British Safety Council on 020 8600 1044; e-mail: sebastian.tarnowski@britsafe.org and book yourself onto the course! |
