Joe Butler hasn’t quite accomplished his dreams of being a seasoned world traveler but loves writing about his travel adventures and sharing strategies with readers to help them have flawless adventures. He’s written for a variety of newspapers and magazines for more than 20 years.
Joe B. is a past regional president of the Idaho Press Club, a past member of the Society of Professional Journalists, the president of a regional historical society, and an active member of the Knights of Columbus.
In college, he completed a 4-year honors program studying the Great Books of Western Literature. Outside of the writing business, he enjoys history, video games, travel, collecting vintage toys and plastic snowglobes, and was recently bequeathed an impressive commemorative spoon collection.
